Summary: The actual cooking class and experience at the home was lovely. We got to try our hand at putting the bread in the tandoor oven, which is novel for us Americans. She got the kids involved and so they were very willing to try the food b/c they had a hand in the preparation. The food tasted great and very much appreciated the stories/explanations. Only issue was the driver to the class got very lost - but other than that hiccup, truly a unique experience and highly recommend if you have the time.

Summary: Basically learn to cook local food in a local home. She is lovely and welcoming. Does not speak any English, but there is a tour guide/translator who is lovely and available for the whole thing. Highly recommend if you want to see the way cappadocians live and learn about the food.
